Our story begins 3000 years ago in Ancient Egypt with evil high priest Imhotep, keeper of the scrolls of Thebes. In a desperate bid to control the world, Imhotep tries to steal the manacle of Osiris. Fortunately, He fails! 3000 years later the manacle is dicovered by the O'Connells. However - something goes horribly wrong. Imhotep rises again. Now it's a race against time, as the O'Connells battle Imhotep in a fanastic quest to save the Earth.In the Balance, a young boy's fate and mandkinds future.

Following a clue they discovered in the diaries of Alexander The Great, the O'Connell family return to Ancient Egypt in pursuit of the scrolls of Thebes. However - evil awaits them. Imhotep uses all of his terrible powers to stop our heroes recovering the scrolls. The diary gives the O'Connell's a clue! But Imhotep is not happy... Will Imhotep be victorious in the race for the scrolls?
