Howard Brackett (Kevin Kline, A Fish Called Wanda) was neat, poetic and clean. As far as the world was concerned, it could only mean one thing. One of his former students Matt Dillon (To Die For, Drugstore Cowboy) became a Hollywood superstar and clumsily called Howard's sexuality into question - in front of millions of viewers on the Academy Awards telecast, no less.
