When fast-talking salesman Sam (Jeremy Renner) and small-time inventor Matt (Dallas Roberts) team-up to take the world by storm they are in for more than a few disappointments along the way. Scheming to develop the 'next big thing' and make their respective fortunes, the friends are stifled by a run of bad luck and a gambling habit that threatens to shut down their business for good.
