ROCKY
His whole life was a million to one shot. Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is a struggling boxer trying to make the big time. Working in a meat factory in Philadelphia for a pittance, he also earns extra cash as a debt collector. When heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) visits Philadelphia, his managers want to set up an exhibition match between Creed and a struggling boxer, touting the fight as a chance for a "nobody" to become a "somebody". The match is supposed to be easily won by Creed, but someone forgot to tell Rocky, who sees this as his only shot at the big time.

ROCKY II
The rematch of the century. In the aftermath of his celebrated match with World Heavyweight Champion Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa enjoys his success, and the money he earned from the match, which was declared a draw, and the heavyweight championship didnt change hands. He marries his fiance Adrian, buys her an expensive fox fur, a sports car for himself, and a large new home. When a projected stint in TV commercials fails because he is unable to remember his lines and cannot read the dummy boards being held for him, an embarrassed Rocky is forced to work for the meat packing company that Adrians brother Paulie works for. When Rocky later gets laid off from the meat packing company, Adrian, who is now pregnant, tries to support them by continuing to work in the pet shop. Rocky believes he has no future as a boxer and accepts a menial job at the gym run by his former trainer Mickey. Apollo, angered by repeated taunts that his fight with Rocky was fixed, is eager for a high-profile rematch with Rocky to prove that the match was a fluke. Adrian is against it, and doctors have warned Rocky that with his injured eye, another fight could seriously damage his eyesight. With the family resources declining and his pride wounded, Rocky decides that fighting is all he knows how to do, and he makes the decision to get back in the ring with Apollo. Adrians lack of support affects Rockys training, much to Mickeys dismay. When Adrian lapses into a coma after giving birth to a baby boy named Rocky Balboa Jr, Rocky stops training. After Adrian later emerges from the coma and tells Rocky to beat Apollo, Rocky resumes his training. Adrians love for Rocky is selfless, and Rocky, who feels the same way, is determined to win the title from Apollo this time.

ROCKY III
Rocky battles his most powerful adversary yet - the ferocious Clubber Lang, played by none other than Mr. T.! With Creed's help, Rocky strives to regain the "eye of the tiger" before confronting Lang in a gruelling rematch for the world heavyweight championship.

ROCKY IV
Sylvester Stallone writes, directs and stars in this war between nations in which the only battle is fought in a boxing ring. Rocky must defend his honour, his friend and America itself.Rocky proudly holds the heavyweight boxing championship, but a new challenge has stepped forward: Drago (Dolf Lundgren), a six-foot four-inch, 261-pound fighter who has the backing of the Soviet Union. Rocky's friend, Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) fights Drago in an exhibition match, but after Creed's fatal defeat, Rocky knows he must avenge his friend and beat the Soviet adversary. Rocky's training regimen takes him to icy Siberia, where he prepares for a globally-televised match in the heart of Moscow. It's a powerfully-charged event as Rocky takes on Drago in a heart-pounding fight to the finish.

ROCKY V
After Rocky (Stallone) returns home from his latest triumph, he learns that all of his money has been lost by an unscrupulous financial advisor. To make matters worse, his fight-related injuries force his retirement from the ring. So Rocky, his wife Adrian (Talia Shire) and his son Rocky Jr. (Sage Stallone) move to their old low-rent neighbourhood in South Philadelphia. There Rocky must resolve the deep-rooted resentment held by his son, a bitterness that grows when Rocky trains Tommy Gunn, a young boxer who soon rises to national prominence. When Tommy turns against his mentor and publicly taunts him, Rocky knows he must fight once more.

ROCKY BALBOA
Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) has now been retired for some time, but hard-up for money, he decides to step back into the ring against a few small-time boxers. Everything changes, though, when Rocky is offered the opportunity to step in with the reigning Heavyweight Champion, Mason "The Line" Dixon. Does Rocky still have what it takes to make another Championship comeback?
