The CD contains 13 of the Ellingtons classic Victor recordings, plus seven previously unissued broadcast selections from the legendary Blanton/Webster Band of 1941 at its most stunning peak. The DVD contains 8 of Ellingtons promotional film shorts ("soundies"), plus a candid audio interview from 1941 that is issued here for the very first time.
