It is doubtful that Rugby League has ever seen a more potent attacking outfit than the Canberra side that annnexed three premierships in the space of six years.

With the likes of Mal Meninga, Laurie Daley, Ricky Stuart, Brad Clyde, Steve Walters, Brett Mullins, John Ferguson, Gary Belcher and David Furner at the height of their powers, the Raiders were a joy for supporters to watch but a nightmare for opposing teams to defend against.

Under the astute direction of coach Tim Sheens, their gifted line-up seized back to back titles in 1989 and '90, before finding themselves on the victory dais again four years later.
